Human–Environment Interactions in Climate Change: Physiological and Design Perspectives

This one-day workshop on physiology and design in relation to climate change aims to increase awareness of the implications of climate change on human performance and wellbeing.
The workshop will introduce participants to the topic of physiology and climate in relation to the needs of specific populations and will identify future directions for designing human-environment interactions that can enhance resilience.

Workshop topics

• Overview of human physiology and implications of climate change
• Human performance in climate change and extreme environments
• Physiology and human factors of special populations (children and older adults, gender, disabilities)
• Designing smart human-environment innovative infrastructures and technologies for climate change-induced disasters.

Interested in taking part?

• The workshop is open to TAU students in any discipline.

• Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
• Participation is free of charge and includes refreshments.
